OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
​​After several trips to the African continent spanning from Uganda, Ghana and Sudan. Dr. Sharon Brown, the former Vice President of Son Shine Christian Association Scholarship Fund, witnessed a great need for agricultural development in local communities. She noticed that most communities consisted of senior residents and adolescents. Due to the AIDS Epidemic, most of the middle aged residents were deceased.
In 2012, SONSHINE GLOBAL PARTNERS was founded on the basis of agricultural development and medical outreach for foreign communities who were affected by the AIDS Epidemic. SPG became dedicated to teaching the young adult age group entrepreneurial skills and providing annual medical support from a team of professional volunteer physicians and medical staff.
To this day SPG continues to provide agricultural education and medical support to South Sudanese refugees currently residing in Uganda, through interactive programs provided by onsite training through the Malku Institute of Technology. SGP also has increased its efforts to empower the surrounding communities and change lives through areas or education, agricultural development, jobs, and health.
